Filming on the Sherlock Holmes sequel was halted earlier this week (begs04Oct10) after Robert Downey Jr. fell ill, according to a new report. The actor is currently filming the follow-up to Guy Ritchie's 2009 film in London, but he pulled out of the shoot on Tuesday (05Oct10) after complaining he felt unwell, reports Britain's The Sun.
A source tells the newspaper, "Everyone was fired up and ready to go. Word filtered around that Robert had a bit of a sniffle and wouldn't be coming in. It was a bit of a shock."
Sherlock Holmes was a huge success when it was released last year, which saw Downey Jr team up with Jude Law and filmmaker guy Ritchie.
The movie took over $523 million at the global box office and Downey Jr won a Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Golden Globe.
He will be back on the big screen later this year as he stars in Todd Phillips' Due Date alongside Zach Galifianakis.
